Kristi Skinner is a native of Southeast Missouri and completed her education here in the region. She has over 12 years of experience in pain management and neurosurgical nursing as well as 5 years of experience in urgent care. She joined Regional Brain & Spine in 2007.
Kristi sees patients who need treatment for many types of pain, including cancer pain. Her goal is to emphasize patient education while providing each person with the personalized, compassionate care they deserve. She understands that each patient has unique needs and goals that must be considered when developing and implementing a treatment plan.
To stay active in her profession, Kristi maintains memberships in the Missouri Nurses Association, the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the Heartland Advanced Practice Nurses Network.
Kristi is married with two sons. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and attending sporting events with her sons.
